Any news on motion blur with changing topology (cloth tearing, TP) or large amounts of objects with opacity maps e.g. snow flake sprites?

Have you heard of any render engine that has successfully implemented changing topology motion blur?
It sounds like a logical impossibility to me.
I know its a beta, but how can you say render times are less when the images are still grainy compared to v2.4?
