Insydium has disclosed some of the features they’re incorporating into the upcoming version of the particle system plugin for Cinema 4D, most notably the addition of a FLIP solver. Changes include:
- New FLIP solver allows for smoke and fire simulations, as
well as improved liquids - Elektrix object for lightning or electrical effects
- New Branching modifier for branched structures
- Improved Flock modifier with Flock Helper objects
- Network modifier for enhanced grid-like effects
- Tendril modifier for creepy tentacle effects:
- At least another 8 new modifiers
- True subframe emission and subframe modifier operation to
reduce/eliminate particle banding - Greatly enhanced role for particle groups
- Additional Questions and Actions
- Many existing modifiers reworked and enhanced
