Raylight’s crowdfunding campaign to develop v2.0 of their unwrapping tool for 3DS Max and Maya has passed the 50% mark, and the company has released a new v1.6 version of the plugin with support for 3DS Max and Maya 2016. In case it needs to be clarified, we’re publishing these news items to try to help fellow artists at Raylight. They aren’t doing the crowdfunding for profit, they need to cover development costs and they have developed a great inexpensive plugin that is useful for many people.
Don’t get me wrong I wasn’t trying to criticize the news article. I like that you are doing it. It was just something about how I read the two comments that I found really funny.
