Z for Houdini – simultaneous modelling in ZBrush and Houdini
Alexey Vanzhula has released Z, a set of tools that allows the user to model simultaneously in Houdini and ZBrush. Essentially it allows you to open the same geometry in both packages and exporting changes occurs automatically when you switch between the windows.
Included is ZRemesher, a feature that allows the user to retopologise a mesh automatically. Z also supports PolyPaint in both directions. In Houdini, the PolyPaint texture is stored in a “Cd” point attribute.
