Zap Andersson on Mental Ray progressive rendering in Max 2015

Håkan “Zap” Andersson, Rendering Architect at Autodesk, has written an interesting post on the work he’s done to turn Mental Ray into an ActiveShade renderer (a feature which will be available in Max 2015). Also of note, Iray string options have been enabled and the renderer’s LPE’s (Light Path Expressions) have been turned into render elements. More on Zap Andersson’s blog.
