Software - 3DS Max
John Martini has released a modifier pack that contains 3 plugins for creating linear, radial and grid clones. They work by copying an object with options to incrementally translate, rotate and scale. These settings can also be animated and multiple modifiers can be built-up in the stack for more complex results. The plugins are compatible with Max 2018 or later and cost $3. F12 has released a new version of The Grove, its parametric tree modelling tool for Blender. New features include the ability to animate tree growth, improved tools to allow growth to react to forces, improved materials, a better UX, and many simulation improvements to increase realism and allow for fine-tuning.
