KStudio has released Project Manager 3 for 3ds Max. New features include the ability to assign custom previews to materials, associate files with materials, and create a gallery of files associated with any type of assets including materials. it is also possible to create a description for a material and add materials to favourites. The Gnomon Workshop has released a new training course by Miguel Ortega that breaks down the creation of two shots featured in his 30 minute period fantasy film “The Ningyo”, currently being adapted to a feature film. Henrik Bjerregaard Clausen has released a short animation that captures how he feels when trying to accomplish a creative goal. The file won the Animation competition TRSAC 2019 in Aarhus. Denmark. Digital Archive of Natural History (DiNArDa) is a non-profit organisation dedicated to the digitization of natural history collections, particularly insects. To this end, they have a growing library on Sketchfab which are free to download under a CC Attribution license and they have also published the specification for DISC3D. their open-source scanner designed especially for small objects.
