Wonder Unit has released a new open source application for creating storyboards. Storyboarder includes several features to simplify the process of visualising storyboards, including: a streamlined interface, compatibility with Wacom tablets, the ability to automatically import hand drawn boards from scans or photos, a shot generator based on key words, the ability to quickly open a sketch in Photoshop, tools to export animatics to Premiere, Avid, Final Cut, PDF and GIF, etc. Storyboarder is compatible with Windows OSX and Linux. Find out more on Wonder Unit's website and fork the project on GitHub.
