Mari 4.2 released with mirrored projection
Foundry has announced a new release of Mari, its 3D painting software.
Version 4.2 introduces Mirrored Projection, enabling the user to paint on one side of a mirror plane while Mari projects the same strokes to the other side. Mirror masking prevents secondary projected paint overlapping across the mirror plane for a clean join.
The mirror plane can be locked onto an object or locator, allowing the reflected edge of the mirror projection to be manipulated and placed.
Mari is available for £1,468 for a perpetual license with one year of maintenance or is available to rent for £499 annually or £49 monthly. Find out more about the new release on Foundry’s website.
