Vertical? Why? But why?
Instagram, and other sites where mobile has a large influence. I don’t necessarily agree with it, and can’t stand it when people record video holding their phone in portrait instead of landscape. But that’s what the clients want for posting there.

I hate the vertical videos too, but I could see this effect being nice for my now ex-colleagues when converting video for different formats.
It was always annoying when we were told to change our new perfectly fine 16:9 video to something “stupid” 🙂
