Smith Micro Software have released the latest version of their 2D animation application. New features include:
- Simplified controls for creating frame-by-frame animation
- Layer referencing
- Animated shape ordering
- Animated bone targets
- Animated bone parenting
- Tools & Brushes enhancements – select drawing tools have been enhanced to give you more control. Reduce the point count on simple shapes, merge strokes and smooth shapes with the Freehand Tool or blend stroke colors with the new Color Points Tool. New brush improvements provide more flexible and natural looking results.
- Improved Photoshop file support
- Bone Flipping
- Smart Bones enhancements
- Point Colors for creating a gradient-type fill for the objects, based on point positions
- Group with Selection Layers
- Normalize layer scale
- Timeline enhancements – show and hide channels on the timeline based on your preferences
- Styles enhancements
- Batch export enhancements
- New File Format – Anime Studio utilizes a new JSON-based file format with an .anime extension. This is a more modern file format that delivers faster processing when working with files. Backwards compatibility is available to version 5.
Its amasing the new Anime Estudio is a powerfull tool to animate.
