After being funded through KissKissBankBank thanks to the support of 3DS Max artists, the character rigging and animation tools developed by Ludovic Habas are now available. Based on a rig that was used in the production of Supinfocom shorts, these tools allow to create quality rigs for bipeds, quadrupeds, etc., and to choose their complexity (adding stretch, curves, snaps – with squash/stretch/scale editable in the animation curves). The character animation tools are also available, and the author has additionally written a new script, Auto-skin, which speeds up the process of skinning characters rigged with Auto-Rig.
