AYON open source pipeline platform available in early access

Ynput had announced early access to AYON, an open-source pipeline platform designed to accelerate workflows at animation and VFX studios. According to the developers, a derivation of AYON has been used in production since 2018 on hundreds of projects under the name of OpenPype.
AYON offers “the essential foundations to build a scalable pipeline that supports the complex workflows seen in animation and VFX studios. Modular in its approach, the powerful pipeline tools help to automate the transfer of data into a wide range of industry-standard creative applications and production tracking software”. This looks PRETTY cool.
It seems to have file versioning and asset management, it is a big gap in the open source realm of production tools since the only serious thing that is out there for this is SVN (which is old).
So this can be a refreshing tool that could be awesome to have, we’ll try it for sure!
