Netflix announce NetFX cloud collaboration platform

Netflix has announced NetFX, a new cloud-based platform designed to “make it easier for vendors, artists and creators to connect and collaborate on VFX” for its productions. Some features of the platform include virtual workstations, integrated storage and full access to secure rendering in a connected environment.

A beta version of the NetFX platform is already being used in Canada by Frontier VFX and Galavant VFX with plans to extend it to Mumbai by early 2021 through a partnership with Anibrain. Read more on the Netflix Tech Blog.
