Biped Selector script for 3ds Max
Mjblosser has released a revised version of Jim Jagger’s biped select tool, a handy script for quickly selecting Biped characters and bones but which had not been updated in years and was no longer available. The original tool used external aMxscript files and icons dispersed across multiple folders. In contrast, mjblosser’s version improves upon the original by consolidating all functions and icons into a single, self-contained Maxscript. The updated tool offers the same functionality as its predecessor but with a more streamlined, user-friendly file structure. Find out more on ScriptSpot.
Poor Biped its ancient tech still kicks major ass when it comes to bipedal rigging, no tool out of the box in any package has come close to what it offers. Meanwhile at Autodesk departments they are too busy with max patch 2024.1 and its new splash screen as a feature.
Autodesk has evolved into a machine for adding shareholder value rather than adding value to customers. Its what happens when a company is driven by ideology. Gems get overlooked, neglected and left behind. I’m not saying some value hasn’t been added for cuastomers, but man, they passed over and buried some huuuuge gems.
