New features in Allegorithmic’s substance for transforming bitmap textures into seamless materials include:
Global
– Offset Tiling – Sets the option of tiling if you are using the Offset tiling method.
Height
– Height Input Opacity – Sets the blending value between the input and the generated height map.
– Height Input Options – Sets the modifications applied on height map. Process applies B2M modifications (smoothing, details, etc.). MakeItTile makes the texture tile seamlessly using the same MakeItTile Method as other channels.
– Pinch Intensity – Sharpens the edges on height and normal maps.
– Details Input Intensity – Sets the power of details input to add high frequencies on height and normal maps.
– Details Input Tiling – Sharpens the edges on height, bump, displacement and normal maps.

– Bitmap Height – Import your own bitmap height map.
– Bitmap Details – Import your own bitmap details map.
