Nekki has released Cascadeur 2023.1, adding significant improvements and introducing a dedicated version for Apple computers with ARM chips.
The Finger AutoPosing feature, available in Cascadeur Pro, extends AutoPosing to character’s fingers, providing more natural and realistic posing facilitated by the software’s AI capabilities.
Responding to the Mac community’s requests, Nekki now offers a beta MacOS version of Cascadeur, expanding the software’s compatibility to include Apple computers with ARM chips.
The newly introduced Video MoCap feature enables users to import images and videos, with Cascadeur detecting poses and applying them to characters. Notably, this feature is still under development with plans for performance improvement in future versions.
Lastly, alongside many UI improvements, the Control Picker provides an additional panel for quickly selecting different parts of the character’s rig, making controller selection more efficient.
