Chaos acquires CGarchitect

CGarchitect has announced that it has been acquired by Chaos, the creators of V-Ray, Corona and Phoenix. In 2019 CGarchitect relaunched with a renewed focus on user-generated content and implemented many new tools to help users to share and display their work. This included story building features, AI search tools, and a job recruitment platform with several advanced features only available to paying users. Following the Chaos acquisition, the full suite of CGarchitect’s tools will now be completely free.

CGarchitect has been independently owned and run by Jeff Mottle for over two decades, he has announced that he will now be working for NVIDIA as Senior Developer Relations Manager for Digital Content Creation, acting as a liaison between NVIDIA and leading 3D graphics companies.

We wish Jeff and CGArchitect all the best in their future endeavours. You can read more in Jeff’s leaving post on the CGarchitect website.
