Chaos announces development of new AI-driven rendering technologies
Chaos has recently published information regarding a suite of AI-driven technologies currently under development. These upcoming tools are designed to enhance and streamline the creative processes in various industries, including architecture, visual effects, game design, and filmmaking.
One of the key technologies in development is the PBR Rendering tool, which aims to generate realistic PBR materials from text or image inputs. This feature could greatly simplify the workflow for creating detailed and lifelike surfaces in visual projects. Another notable time-saving technology is the Smart Scene Populator, designed to automate the placement of assets in 3D scenes.
A Style Transfer feature is also being developed to allow users to apply different visual styles to their renders, offering new avenues for creative exploration. Similarly, the Lifestyle Image tool is intended to transform product images into more dynamic lifestyle visuals, enhancing the representation of products in real-life scenarios.
Chaos is also working on a Material Aging Simulator, which would provide insights into the long-term appearance of materials, a valuable asset for long-term design planning. A Voice Interface is also in the works to facilitate hands-free control over creative workflows.
Further innovations include a Set Extender for efficient 3D set creation, A Historical Asset Learner for predicting future asset needs, and the Intelligent Lighting Optimizer for automated lighting adjustments in scenes.
