Unity Technologies announced Unity Cloud, a suite of online services designed to help mobile game developers acquire new players, promote and monetize their games. Unity Cloud, currently in beta, provides analytics, marketing and monetization capabilities that are easy to implement, letting developers stay focused on game development. More on Unity3D.com.
Also of note Unity Technologies announced that it is developing native 2D features for its authoring tool to better support 2D game
