New features in the upcoming version of Maxon’s flagship 3D application include: improvements to viewport preview quality and performance, a Sound Effector, additional features for Voronoi Fracturing, Spherical Camera, enhanced Alembic support, integration of AMD’s ProRender technology, etc. R19 is due for release in September. Interesting update. There’s rumor that R20 will be a big one, but we have to wait 1 year to find out.

Sounds like a good release, still missing a nodal network for shader.
