A great article at Creative Tools that explains how they cloned a 1000-year-old archaeological artifact using a Handyscan 3D VIUscan laser scanner and a ZPrinter 650 3D printer. There’s even an interesting list of the advantages of cloning unique artifacts for digital and physical distribution of objects.
