Corona Renderer alpha 5 released

- Support for normal mapping – CoronaNormalTex
- CoronaTexmap Render element
- Support for multiple mapping channels for CoronaProxy
- Support for vertex color channel
- Support for asset tracking/repathing for CoronaProxy and CoronaLight IES files
- Added Top/Bottom Map
- Added new default gray value energy conservation algorithm
Plus bug fixes. According to the developer, the next features to be implemented are distributed rendering, irradiance caching, SSS+media and interactive rendering. Also of note, new great images have been added to Corona’s gallery.
Corona Renderer is currently free to use, though it is expected to become commercial in the future. Active beta testers will get access to the full version for free. More on Corona Renderer’s site.
