CryptomatteExtractor is a tool that generates Cryptomatte masks from EXR files with one click. It turns Cryptomatte passes into a layered PSD: drop the EXR, tick the passes, press Build. The document opens in Photoshop or Affinity with every mask in place, ready to use. Features in v2.4 include:
- Batch processing
- Photoshop / Affinity Photo delivery: layered document with MASKS and Elements groups
- Render elements as layers (or as PNGs)
- Support for multilayer EXRs of any size – documents over 30 000 px or 2 GB are written as PSB automatically
