DaVinci Resolve for Windows

Blackmagic Design announced that its color grading software will soon be available for Windows. The new version will be accompanied by the Mac OS X version, so that when customers purchase DaVinci Resolve, they can choose which OS they want to use. DaVinci Resolve Lite, the free version, will also be available for both OSs. Release is scheduled for Q1 2012.
Also of note, Blackmagic Design announced the upcoming release of DaVinci Resolve 8.1. New features include: ACES colorspace support, new layer node composite effects, compatibility for Avid AAF and round trip with Avid Media Composer, Final Cut Pro 7 clip size and position support, new copy commands for grades, upgraded EDL features, support for UltraStudio 3D for Thunderbolt and compatibility with the 2011 MacBook Pro 15” computer.
