Disney to acquire Lucasfilm

Disney has acquired the rights to Lucasfilm consumer products, animation, visual effects, audio post production and live action film production. The transaction between the two companies is valued at $4.05 billion upon finalization and plans to release a 7th Star Wars film have been announced. Read the entire article on Disney’s website.
