Foundry has announced that students enrolled on a full-time course at a university or school can now apply for a free year of a new Education Collective suite that includes Nuke, Mari, Modo, Katana and Cara VR. The educational licenses are not feature limited, but understandably cannot be used for commercial work.

After the year has expired, students can purchase the suite for a further 3 years at $262. At the end of this period, there’s also the option to upgrade to a commercial license at a 70% reduction.

The educational collective suite is also available for educators at $262 for faculty members and $314 for institutions.

Find out more on Foundry’s website.
