Today Sony held a press conference unveiling the new Playstation to be released during the holidays this year. With it came many real-time tech demos and gameplay presentation that showed off what the PS4 (and one would assume, the next Xbox) is capable of. A couple of the gameplay demonstrations rivaled the quality of many of today’s high end game cinematics. Perhaps the best examples were Infamous: Second Son, confirmed to be running in real-time, and Capcom’s Deep Down (also in-engine).
Killzone, and several other games also looked fantastic. You sculptors out there, experienced and new, might be interested in Media Molecule’s upcoming adventure where you use the Move controller to sculpt in collaboration with friends online. Most of today’s videos can be found on Playstation’s blog.
