FXHome have announced the upcoming release of HitFilm 3 Pro, the latest version of its editing, compositing and VFX software. The new version brings significant improvements, including an OpenEXR pipeline, background proxying, OpenFX compatibility, expanded Mocha HitFilm to include mask tracking, camera projection, new particle simulator features, improved editor, etc.
Also of note, the new version incorporates over 20 new effects, such as Lens Blur, for depth of field effects based on a depth map and with customization of the iris bloom shape, and Grade Transfer, for matching looks across multiple clips. HitFilm 3 Pro is scheduled to be released at the of November at a price of $299. More on FXHome’s website.
