Marc Petit, Senior Vice President of the Media & Entertainment group, has left Autodesk. Petit was responsible for guiding the design and development of Autodesk’s digital entertainment creation and visual communication software. He joined Autodesk in 2002, after serving as Vice President of 3D Products at Softimage. Petit entered the CG field in 1987, when he joined 3D software pioneer Thomson Digital Image (TDI). According to various sources, Autodesk has temporarily appointed Chris Bradshaw (Sr VP of Reputation, Consumer and Education) to act as head of the M&E group while they search for a replacement. Marc Petit’s Twitter account has been modified reflecting his departure from Autodesk.
