After Softimage’s regrettable decease, Character TD Miquel Campos migrated to Maya. To make the transition smoother he ported to Maya part of the functionality of Gear,
the set of rigging and animation tools developed by Blur’s Jeremie Passerin. Miquel has now released v1.0 of the rigging framework for Maya, as well as a number of tutorials on how to use it. More on Miquel Campos’ website.
