Kostadin Kotev has released Miauu’s Manage Links, a new commercial script that facilitates linking Sketchup, Rhino, Autocad or your preferred BIM or CAD program with 3ds Max. The script imports the models, cleans and fixes the imported geometry, then splits the mesh into one object per material. The resulting objects are then saved to a .fbx file that can be linked to 3ds Max manually or automatically using the script. The script costs €23.00. Find out more on the Miauu website.

I have been using Miauu’s Manage Links as my day-to-day tool for working with SketchUp since 2023. It is a remarkable tool that hasn’t failed me once in all that time.
