DesignWorks is a set of software tools, libraries and technologies designed for developers creating professional graphics and advanced rendering applications. The idea of DesignWorks is to give developers a way to take advantage of NVidia’s work in both physically based rendering (PBR) and physically based materials.
This suite of technologies includes OptiX for building ray tracing applications, Material Definition Language (MDL) for sharing materials between applications, DesignWorks VR for incorporating virtual reality into design software and various other tools for creating, visualizing and sharing digital designs.
