Orbaz Technologies have made available the list of features for their upcoming Box #2 plugin. Taking advantage of the PhysX simulation engine from NVidia, Box #2 provides operators and tests to replicate real-world effects such as natural and man-made forces, binding particles together and then breaking the bonds, collisions between particles, with other objects, and more. Box #2 also offers three new modifiers that allow particles to make parts of regular objects appear and disappear, use particles as bones in mesh objects, and allow particles in a simulation to physically interact with standard objects. Several new Birth operators that are optimized for physics simulations are included as well as a preset flow that makes initial setup a snap. Read the complete list of features and check out the new sample videos (“Avalanche” onwards) at Orbaz.com.
