Polybrush is a new lightweight and inexpensive modeling and sculpting tool by Arseniy Korablev that’s designed for rapid 3D sketching. It allows artists to draw strokes in 3D space using brushes that may consist of several objects and can change their color and deformation depending on the graphic tablet’s pen pressure. The software also features innovative sculpting and voxel tools, bones, remesh tools, lathing, symmetry and more. Demo videos and additional information can be found on the official website.

This is the work of one person. Arseniy Korablev is also a remarkable artist, a genius that knows how to develop by himself the tools he needs. The price of the pro version is extremely low, only 20$. This is a very cool tool but only for sculpting. Is is intuitive, fast and powerful. In the next version he will add also add texture assignment with simple UV projections.

I have been trying this out this morning. It needs touch camera controls for tablets.

Anyone else get a strange message about malware and a virus when trying to download the “Lite” version? Under Win10 Win Defender is freaks out about it and deletes it.

Wanted to try this but couldn’t seem to get the trial to work on my computer. Refused to start up. Exciting features though.
