- Ability to specify wood thickness, gap thickness, edge resolution and more.
- Ability to add chamfers.
- Ability to show detailed info after the slicing process completes.
- A rods and washers tool for adding metal rods with a single click.
- Unwrap UVs tool with the ability to adjust the tiling and rotation of the UVs separately for edges and sides.

the “another tool” that do the same thing, but faster, parametric, animatable, and non-destructible, because is a plugin:

Rayfire is a $285 “plugin”, and how do you know that it is faster without trying this one.
The “other plugin” is $285.
And doesn’t do the same thing or faster. It is not designed for this kind of workflow.
$285 vs $39. Granted you are buying the RayFire suite of tools, if you don’t need them it isn’t worth it just for that price.
If you actually want geometry plus the ability to send out the parts for manufacturing, just get the free Autodesk Slicer. Currently broken within Fusion360, but the standalone still works.
