The developer of the Sandy granular solver plugin announced the features of his new RealFlow plugin designed for accurate and natural preservation of sheets of fluid and the thickening of fluid edges through surface tension. Q is a daemon plugin that provides control over sheets, tendrils and edge-surface
tension, and the stress it takes to collapse the sheets. It allows to create clean sheets and great edges without millions of particles.

Other features include:
- Any shape-bounding geometry can be used for restricting daemon effect to inside/outside
- Auto-Volume – the particles that are created to enable sheets are automatically removed again when the sheets or tendrils are collapsing.
- Surface-tension model creates natural edges and droplets.
- Tendrils – Q does not fake tendrils, it only pushes the ones that naturally occur
- Droplets – “Droplet-Cut-Off” parameter offers control over how soon droplets detach / tendrils collapse into droplets
- Easy to learn, stable and multithreaded
