Megascans is an online library of thousands of physically based material and object scans. Materials are seamlessly tiled, 2×2 meters, 4-16K, HDR and calibrated for all common BRDFs. Every asset is tiered for VFX as well as real-time use.
The library will be offered through a subscription model. A closed beta will start in January and Quixel is currently accepting applications. A large public beta is scheduled to take place later. More on Quixel’s website.
