New features in Shoran Software’s render management system include:
- Automatic executable searching
- On-the-fly editing of render sets and job splitting – you
can edit most settings of a job without losing any progress. - Database
management – The new database management can be used to backup
the
current server database and restore previous backups. It is also
possible to create automatic, periodic backups of your database, so
that you can always revert to an older version. - Renderer interfaces: Environment variables
- Renderer
license management: Plugin renderers – Plugin renderers often
have
their own licenses, but also consume a license of their host renderer.
The license management now allows you to set a host renderer for each
license, whose license count will also be decreased.
Other new additions include client scheduling, email notifications about failed jobs, remote execution presets, etc. More on RenderPal’s website.
