SiNi Software 1.11 released
SiNi Software has announced a new update to its suite of plugins for 3DS Max. In addition to adding compatibility with 3DS Max 2019, several new features have been included.
Ignite is SiNi’s flagship plugin, acting as an all-in-one toolbox of over 140 features. Changes in this release include updated Sculpt tools which are used to clean up models imported from CAD and BIM. The ability to find double objects and double verts has been added and there are new options to retain geometry as polys plus a 30% speed boost for the conform to surface function. Other improvements include the ability for Scribe’s spline tools to work with splines that have modifiers applied.
Illumni – Sini’s automated HDRI lighting wizard – gains the ability to generate preview images for any HDRI and the ability to edit their details directly within the plugin. The auto-generated rig now holds multiple HDRIs and there’s a new option to select a camera.
In addition to Ignite, the suite includes several plugins: Forensic, a scene inspection and issue finder/fixer; ProSi. a render agnostic proxy object that allows users to add security to their assets; SiClone, a parametric modelling tool; Disperse for hand painting instances; plus Scatter which as the name suggests, is a scattering tool. In this release SiClone, Disperse and Scatter gain compatibility for V-Ray 4 and above and SiClone gains a 40% speed boost for its build times.
