SquidGuild announced, 3D Stock Talk site is born

Competition has been heating up in the lucrative 3D stock models market in the past years, newcomers and established players have been offering artists incentives to join their sites. TurboSquid has designed a program that increases the percentage artists obtain when selling their work through the site (as well as more information on how to better sell assets) in exchange for exclusive contracts by which artists agree to withhold from selling that content on other sites. Those who do not join the program would see their share lowered a certain percentage. The move has caused many reactions, both from artists as well as representatives from other sites that offer 3D assets, such as The3DStudio.com and Falling Pixel. A new independent forum has been set up at 3DStockTalk.org, for discussing issues related to selling 3D assets.
