Allegorithmic has disclosed information on a new feature they’re working on based on requests from Substance Painter users dedicated to creating video game assets. Dynamic Material Layering is a way to visualize complex shaders on your assets directly in Substance Painter and to get an accurate preview of the final in-game result while still being able to use all the painting and masking tools that Painter has to offer.
