If you missed the previous news story, TyFlow is a replacement for PFlow that’s currently being developed by Tyson Ibele whose aim is to “bring Max back to the 21st century and create what PFlow could have been if development didn’t stop 10 years ago”. The original news story has more information and for the latest TyFlow examples and experiments, see Tyson’s Instagram page.

This developer is doing more in 1year than Autodesk for 3DS max and Maya in 10years 😀 Incredible work! Love it! But I am not going to use it because I still don’t trust AD’s subscription model and their slothfulness. AD is just milking money with subscription nothing more. I am still angry for AD because of Softimage’s end >:(

It will never make it to a releasable version let alone one that gets maintained. We have seen it all before with loads of these plugins that just die out. Also I think we have seen enough of the stupid mo-cap presets with stupid things happening to them

So, your position is don’t develop anything new, and don’t show any feature using mocap recordings. Got it.

I think every max user will buy this. It brings Houdini like powers to our familiar Max world. Now, if only we had the same kind of updating to the Biped system and the cloth system…..
