The Cologne-based XTUIO team has released the latest version of UniTUIO CE, their collection of scripts that bridge together the TUIO multi-touch framework with the Unity engine. The new release offers a virtual IPhoneInput class that you can access from the desktop version of Unity, which helps to quickly and easily port IPhone and IPad apps to every TUIO compliant multi-touch table, and vice versa. Yeah – there is a lot of uncertanity regarding 4.0… Well, we have moved toward the new version before GDC 2010 – so we HAD to release that now… Let’s see what will be going on with Unity and 4.0 – i quess we will know a lot more next week or so… But anyho: the main purpose of uniTUIO is to devlop Multi Touch applications for ALL TUIO enabled platforms – and this is not affected by Apple 🙂
