The latest add-on by Casey Sheep offers a collection of procedural effects, Geometry Nodes generators, shaders, hand-drawn animation effects, compositor effects and ready-to-use VFX assets for Blender. Built for both stylized and realistic rendering, it allows to add trails, smoke, screen FX and more without rebuilding node trees from scratch.
According to the developer, version 2.0 is planned for this year, with a target of more than 500 assets, followed by further expansion. All updates will be free to owners of v1.0.
VFX Toolkit is priced at $49 and includes approximately 100 presets. It can be purchased as a bundle with Casey Sheep’s previously released LazyVFX for $67, which adds around 270 VDB effects. A 25% release discount on the bundle is currently offered. VFX Toolkit supports Blender 4.5 and later, most assets support Eevee and Cycles. A small number of assets support Cycles only.
