Shotgun launches Iphone review App, Shotgun Desktop and Mari integration

Shotgun Software, developer of cloud-based production tracking, review and asset management tools announced the launch of a mobile App that brings Shotgun Review to the Iphone, a new quick access system to pipeline tools called Shotgun Desktop and integration with The Foundry's Mari. Tactic Apps

Southpaw Technology, developer of the open source asset management platform Tactic, is developing open source and commercial Apps to extend the functionality of the Tactic platform. Three of these apps, VFX, Async and ServerAssist will be available starting this Fall. TacticVFX is aimed at asset management in visual effects studios, Async addresses the needs of businesses that are based in multiple locations while ServerAssist simplifies the way users organize and manage data. Vicon releases Pegasus and Blade 3

Vicon announced the launch of two new software, Pegasus and Pegasus Advanced, a set of retargeting and solving tools aimed at simplifying the process of streaming real-time motion capture data onto game assets, as well as Blade 3, the latest version of its motion capture and data processing software.
