After Effects CC 2015 v13.6 and Character Animator Preview 3 updates available

New features in Adobe’s compositing, VFX and motion graphics application include: performance and UI improvements for previews, multi-touch gestures, optimizations for small and high-res screens, improved color fidelity, new importers, scripting additions, the ability to search and license stock video from within After Effects, and streamlined Creative Cloud Libraries workflows.
Also of note, the Character Animator (Preview 3) update adds “sticks” to control rigidity of the puppet mesh, multi-touch gestures to control character limbs, the ability to share rigged puppets, increased recording flexibility, performance improvements, etc. More on Adobe’s website.

Aaaand that is what you get from a rental-only license type, no option to purchase and poor updates, it’s a shame… oh! wait! they added a rigging tool… and their own stock store!!! … … a shame… …
