Aviz Studio Tools has introduced AImagine, a new tool for 3ds Max that integrates AI-driven image generation directly into the software. The tool allows users to generate AI images using different sources such as the active viewport, rendered images, or external files on a local machine.
AImagine operates through cloud-based processing, meaning image generation does not slow down local workflows. Users can input text prompts, select from available AI models, and generate results within seconds while continuing to work inside 3ds Max. The tool supports model comparisons, seasonal scene variations, and the ability to refine prompts for different design outcomes.
The software is compatible with both cloud-hosted models, including Google’s Gemini 2.5, and locally configured AI models such as Flux 1.0. While cloud-based options avoid using local resources, local models allow for offline use at the cost of GPU performance impact. Users can save generated images directly in 3ds Max for further reference or design iteration.
AImagine also includes a style transfer feature, which enables users to apply the visual characteristics of one image to another. This can be used to create variations in lighting, texture, or artistic appearance, broadening the creative applications of the tool.
Aviz Studio Tools stated that AImagine will be made available in 3ds Max as part of its AI Studio Tools package.
