Project Felix offers a simplified workflow that lets users place 3D objects into a background image, allowing to adjust perspective, lighting and materials easily with an interactive renderer. Adobe Stock is introducing three new asset types to support Project Felix workflows: models, materials and lights. Felix will be available for download “later this year” as a beta desktop application, as part of Adobe’s rental-based Creative Cloud. More on Adobe’s website.
They forgot to mention all the bugs they leave behind for any new features they come up with 😉
This is so ridiculous! I wish they put all this effort in improving the flagship products..
They won’t.
If you look at the Adobe MAX Creativity Conference https://goo.gl/Uefwd6, you’ll hear Shantanu Narayen praising their development for the new technologies which will allow virtually anyone to be the next creative whatever in the room, even your grandma 🙂
Their strategy is to gather as many new users as possible, hence their new development looks like a cheap, dummy-ready software that anyone can use, rather than focusing on professionals. It seems the new MacBook “pro” after all might be just fine for this, ha!
Seems like they’re heading the Apple route.
I’m not massively regretting my decision to stay with CS6, I just see it like giving up cigarettes, saving myself £40+ a month.
Same here, still on CS6 as long as it will hold up!
me three 🙂 still on cs6 prod bundle
Seriously, templates presets and stock images???
If I had the time I’d so redo this video by replacing all the actions you see on the screen by some complex Houdini setup 🙂
My name is Felix and I feel very offended by this software.
^_^
You’re right Felix, but it can always get worse, watch this:

(how embarrassing!)
wtf
Oh dear. That’s a good way to push people off subscription!
no way lol
Gather the crowd, shout it aloud, Creative Cloud!! Whaaat?!?! This is ridiculous…
Might go the way of Adobe Atmosphere.
I still remember and tried it, it was a 3D app for web pages around 1999 and 2000 year…
As everything Adobe did in 3D they started and then killed it.
And have you checked the new After Effect release?! IT IS FULL OF IMPROVEMENTS!!!!!
Sarcasm of course…
Dont forget the premier vr workflow, should be interesting
