John Martini and Andru Phoenix have announced the release of the Animators Toolkit, a suite of modular tools to rig, copy and manipulate animation in a few clicks, without plugin dependency.
“Devices” are the building blocks of the Animators Toolkit. Many are powerful alone, but used together they offer a scalable solution to copy, manipulate and enhance animation in a few clicks. Build combos on the fly with more than 25 modular devices and growing. Snap on ‘Amplify’ to ‘Copy Keys’ and randomize copied animation, or use ‘Select by Name’ with ‘Transform Manipulator’ to make targeted macro adjustments. Use what you need, how you need it and then save it for later.
ATK is a largely expanded version of the original KeyTransfer script by John Martini. There is no need for extra licenses because ATK uses methods native to 3DS Max, so it can easily fit into any production pipeline.
A free lite version is available. Watch a showreel of animations created with ATK on Vimeo and find out more on the Animators Toolkit site.
